Turner Norman is originally from Humboldt, Saskatchewan where he began his dance training under Jacquie Huck. After a successful performing and teaching career in Saskatchewan, Mr. Norman trained at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre in contemporary, modern and ballet and then went on to receive his B.F.A and M.A in Dance at York University.  He has worked with many of the industry's top choreographers in hip-hop, contemporary and jazz.   

He now works as a professional dance teacher, performer and adjudicator in Ontario, Quebec and Western Canada. He also writes, presents and researches dance education, history and pedagogy.

Mr. Norman has nearly 20 years of experience teaching dance to all ages and professionals.  His students call him Mr. Turner.  He is excited to continue teaching in the Minto community at his own studio.  Illustrated Movement Dance Academy has been a life-long dream.  He brings to it his many years of teaching, performance and choreography experience as well as his great love of dance and passion for teaching.

 

 
 

Lindsay holds her Associate Teaching certificates in both Stage and Acro from the B.A.T.D. and is also Acrobatic Arts Module Two Certified. She danced with the Toronto Rock Dance Team for 3 consecutive seasons and also danced with the Toronto Nationals’ Dance Team in the Toronto Nationals inaugural season. Lindsay also had a dance roll in the Jassi Sidhu music video for Margay Margay and has appeared in a Euphoria Smoothies commercial. With over 17 years of teaching experience, Lindsay is thrilled to be a part of the Illustrated Movement Dance Academy faculty.
